Operations and Community Manager Karen Kalantzis recently was selected as a member of Leadership Montgomery’s Class of 2018. Leadership Montgomery brings together current and emerging leaders across a variety of backgrounds to make Montgomery County, MD a better place to live and work.
As a member of the Class of 2018, Karen will join Leadership Montgomery’s hallmark Core Program. The program is a highly interactive and life-enriching nine-month course that makes a significant contribution to Montgomery County’s well-being by providing intensive hands-on study and in-depth discussion of current issues facing the county, including, transportation, education, public safety, business, planning, economic development, communities’ diversity and the arts.
This exceptional and selective program equips participants to effect positive change by gaining a greater understanding of the unique forces that make up Montgomery County while giving them the opportunity to build relationships with past, present, and future leaders in the county. Leadership Montgomery and its programs stand on the values of integrity, leadership, diversity, service, passion, and relationships.
