Startup Maryland Announces 2017 Pitch Across Maryland

The Stage Two kick-off event is being hosted on the afternoon of July 18 at Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Regency Furniture Stadium. Prior to the baseball match, several entrepreneur sessions will be held including a Raise Your Game mini-bootcamp on CEO Pitch Coaching, a session on Benefits in Uncertain Times and an introduction to Angel Academy.

As a reminder, approximately 10-15 Pitch Across Maryland video pitch slots are available for each tour stop — so space is limited. Registration for the Pitch Across Maryland competition is required to participate and to receive the free video after the competition. Later in Stage Two, in partnership with the Maryland Tech Council, the STRT1UP Roadshow will visit the MTC Summer Picnic and also with MTC, the Maryland Association of Counties (MACo), other ecosystem partner/sponsors Startup Maryland will be co-facilitating a Technology Showcase and STRT1UP Roadshow and Pitch Across Maryland tour stops and a Voice of Innovation session at the MACo Annual Summer Conference. At this tour stop, entrepreneurs, innovators, and municipalities can come together around finding effective means to grow industries and celebrate successful entrepreneurs.

Also in Stage 2, Startup Maryland with be joining with Innovation Village and the Town of Seat Pleasant, MD for a STRT1UP Showcase tour stop during the Kevin Durant Daycelebration. Watch for more details on this unique community celebration.
