Super Bowl 50 proved to be a defensively dominate game, lacking those explosive plays that leave us on the edge of our seat in the true football spirit. Thankfully, the commercials didn’t fall short in entertaining the not so die-hard fans. This year advertisers paid a record $5 million for 30 seconds, and it’s safe to say that advertiser after advertiser succeeded in making us laugh and some even pulling at our heart strings.
Here is a list of 5 commercials from Super Bowl 50 that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. Enjoy!
1. Heinz
With no celebrities and no over the top production, this commercial was painfully adorable and straight funny to not love! With a hoard of weiner dogs, literally dressed as weiners, Heinz hit the bulls eye with this short and sweet commercial. Running into the arms of a handful of humans dresses as condiments like ketchup and mustard, this commercial was charmingly goofy in all the best ways. Watch it below, and try not to smile!

2. Honda Ridgeline
Yes, animal commercials have been done time and time again, but when it’s executed as perfectly as singing sheep in this years Honda commercial, we don’t mind. This dramatic and silly commercial featured a crowd of sheep singing Queen’s, “Somebody to Love”. What’s not to love? Watch it below, and good luck not singing along!

3. Bud Light
Featuring ridiculously hilarious Amy Schumer and Seth Rogan, it’s no surprise that Bud Light’s commercial lands a spot in our top 5. Mocking political advertising, and themselves, this commercial aces it when they state that beer is the only thing everyone agrees on and loves, other than Paul Rudd of course! “America has seen the light, and there’s a Bud in front of it.” Watch it yourself below.

4. Audi
Audi took a different angle, and really pulled at our heart strings with their Super Bowl commercial this year. An aging astronaut snaps out of a dark place with a little help from the keys to a fast and sleek Audi. Paying tribute to the passing of David Bowie with the song “Starman” in the background, it adds the perfect effect to bring this emotional story to life. Watch it below.

5. Hyundai
Kevin Hart playing the role of an overprotective father–sounds like the recipe for the next best comedy. Instead, Hyundai turned it into a commercial, and it was genius to say the least! This crowd-pleaser features Hart warmly welcoming his little girls date at the doorway, where he generously hands him the keys to his car. The kicker? The Hyundai Genesis has a finder feature, meaning that Hart can follow his daughters every turn on her big date! As you can imagine things get awkward, yet hilarious! Ending with the young man running for cover and the song “Another One Bites the Dust,” this simple concept leaves you smiling. Check it out below!
