The Federal Government has a goal to award at least three percent of all federal contracting dollars to HUBZone-certified small businesses each year. Joining the HUBZone program makes your business eligible to compete for those contracts. HUBZone-certified businesses also get a 10 percent price evaluation preference in full and open contract competitions. Want to get in on the action? Join us for this free seminar at SSIC Powered by Launch, which is located in a hub zone in downtown Silver Spring. You’ll learn:

  • A brief overview of the federal government contracts market
    • Overview of the SBA HUBZone program
    • Opportunities in the HUBZone program
    • Assessing if a HUBZone company fits your business strategy
    • Applying for SBA HUBZone Certification
  • Network with other government contractors before and after the seminar.

  • 9:00 – 9:30 Breakfast and networking
  • 9:30 – 11:00 Program
  • 11:00 – 11:30 Continued networking (optional)

This event is free but kindly RSVP as a light breakfast will be served. Paid parking is available in the garage adjacent to the building at the Veridian apartments. Metro accessible on the red line.
