New research shows that women who network like men don’t succeed as well as when they network effectively with other successful women, who provide role modeling, guidance and support with personal and professional challenges. The Bethesda Launch office is “launching” a monthly women’s mastermind group on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 for interested female businesswomen and entrepreneurs. The meeting is designed for confidential, mutual support, brainstorming and sharing of resources, with each attendee getting at least 10 minutes of time to share challenges and receive input and ideas. The ideal mastermind group is set up with psychological safety in mind so that there is mutual reciprocity and respect. A commitment of at least 6 months is required, and the first ten applicants get priority. For more information contact Caroline Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org.
