About this event
David DiPaola is CEO of Sensibly, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®), and an insurance broker in Maryland. Concerned about the growing chronic health crisis globally, David wanted to use his skills to address the problem focusing on prevention and reversal rather than treatment. He helps small businesses and corporations obtain accident, health and life insurance and develop performance and wellness programs to help employees thrive. David is also Managing Director for DiPaola Consulting focused on medical sensing and formerly held positions as VP of Global R&D for TT Electronics PLC (leading international teams in Asia, Europe and US) and engineering manager and technical staff at Texas Instruments and Sensata Technologies.
Wellness programs have become standard offerings at top companies across the nation. Furthermore, several studies have shown higher employee engagement, attraction of top talent and ~10% productivity increase with wellness and performance plan implementation. As an example, stock performance of C. Everett Koop National Health Award winners outperformed the S&P 500 Index 3X over a 13-year period. This presentation will cover best practices for implementing a small business wellness program that is customized, practical and affordable to your specific needs. Many options are available including health coaching, customized weight loss and nutrition, in-home fitness training with a remote CSCS, remote monitoring, mental health and stress management, lab screenings and chronic care management, behavior change tools and many more. There will also be ample time for questions and answers.
