Dr. Elizabeth Smith, has been working with start-up biotech companies since 1999 when she worked at the University of Chicago technology transfer office licensing bio-health innovations. She is the founder and owner of SoMax Consulting. Since 2013 she has provided corporate BD strategy and tactics for over 50 start-up companies developing drugs or molecular diagnostics and helped to secure over $15M in non-dilutive funding. In addition to consulting, she is part time VP of Partnering and Strategy for Fzata, Inc.
