It’s obvious to residents in the Washington DC Metro area that there has recently been an increase of new home and apartment building construction – indeed one could joke that our state bird could be the crane!
This is why The NRP Group, a builder and developer based in Cleveland, OH decided to open a new Mid Atlantic office. Luckily for us they chose Launch Workplaces in Gaithersburg to set up shop! The NRP Group was founded in 1995 and since then has developed and constructed over 27,000 residential units in 13 states.
Josh Wooldridge was recently hired by The NRP Group and will be managing the day to day operations of the new outpost. He thought working in a shared office environment would be a smart way to get the new branch office started because of the flexibility and affordability it provides, and after he discovered Launch Workplaces his hunches were correct. “This is a great concept and we want to grow our footprint here as we grow our business,” explained Josh.
Josh has been in the building industry for 15 years and hold degrees in Urban Planning and Business Administration from The University of Maryland. His advice to other business owners is to heed what Mike Tyson has said, “Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the mouth.” Being in real estate and development Josh has experienced his share of rejections and he recommends business owners learn to accept them as you get closer to the acceptance you seek. He loves his job because every day is different.
When Josh isn’t working in his new office (and assembling his new Ikea furniture) he is busy with his family. He has two children ages 3 and 7. If you are in Launch Gaithersburg stop by to meet him!
