Each location has a Director of Member Success and Community Administrator that work collaboratively to craft a productive work environment for small businesses. We believe in providing supportive, nurturing environments for small businesses and we are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service for our members.
You will serve our front desk as the face of Launch Workplaces and be responsible for providing hospitality to our members and guests. Every Launch Workplaces employee helps to foster, facilitate, and manage the Launch community.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Assist in creating a community catering to entrepreneurs and providing a quality working environment for members
- Be knowledgeable about our locations and services
- Learn about our Members and their businesses
- Make connections and referrals between Members and non-members
- Act as Director of Member Success’ right hand
- Greet members and guests
- Place office/kitchen supply orders and keep amenities stocked
- Answer phone calls and transfer accordingly
- Send out email announcements to Members about events, closures, reminders, etc.
- Sort and distribute Member mail
- Maintain a clean and organized office space for your Members by tidying and sanitizing common areas regularly
- Put together tour collateral for scheduled and walk-in tours (flyers, business cards, brochures)
- Ready to give tours to prospective members when Director is unavailable
- Send out lease contracts for new and renewing Members
- Reserve meeting rooms for Members through our reservation/management platform (Essensys, Yardi Kube)
- Keep member information and payment methods updated through our reservation/management platform (Essensys, Yardi Kube)
- Attend and contribute to regular staff meetings and events
- Partner with the Director of Member Success to plan, set up, and clean up community events for your Members
- Able to find something to do or help with when there is a lull in the action (i.e. cleaning, organizing, etc.)
- Keep 3rd party listing sites up to date (Liquidspace, Coworker, Croissant, etc.)

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or property management
- Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Launch offices when necessary
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Quick to pick up new programs and technology (Essensys, Yardi Kube, Screencloud, Teams, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift items 50 pounds or less
- Flexibility to work occasional events outside of business hours
- Must adhere to location-specific COVID-19 mandates
Dress Code: Business casual/professional, casual Fridays
Reports To: Director of Member Success
Hours: Part-time; Monday-Friday, between 9am-5pm. Leave some nights open for the occasional team happy hour!
Salary: $16-$18/hr
Location: On-site at Launch Bethesda: 6900 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20815; intermittent local travel for meetings and events
